hopefully topic wont be too controversial :? and one not for the purists :)

There are loads of spray waxes out there! Has anyone found a spray wax product that is as follows....

1. easy to apply and buff up - most of them seem to be!
2. doesnt fingerprint
3. doesnt allow sticky build up over time.

the last two are the main problems with these products

I need to settle on a product for ease of use in a semi commercial enviroment. Paste waxes are just too hard work!

are there any elusive products out there that I havnt noticed? Possibly a furniture cream but it must be easy to apply and buff off.....

I think there are a lot of people here also looking for that elusive utopian wax :D

haha yes indeed! I know of a dealer showing decent quality furniture stock at a well known fair who uses Pledge but strips the branding on the can so its just plain silver...

Morrisons stock an interesting one - yellow spray can with black lettering with a funny shaped lid and supposedly containing no slicone. It does do a fantastically quick and impressive job on polished surfaces but is very finger printy also I think it has oil or parrafin in it or something as its an instant and deep shine that doesnt last..

Ian thanks for the link. No that one I havt tried though I do use Lakeone paste wax so may give it a go. I bought spray Antiquwax which is the only wax I've ever used that makes a surface duller! Liberon makes the surface shiney but the smell is disgusting. All these sprays at £12 odd are meg dear as well...in fact on a test piece the other day I tried the two waxes I've just mentioned plus a Pledge product and the Pledge was best in terms of application, shine and fingerprinting. Of course its a 6th of the price as well..!!
