Hi Guys

Are the experts aware of a chuck attachment that I can use to take out the shallow bowl of a serving spoon?

Look at wooden jaw plates to fit your chuck and then make up 4 custom jaws in a hard wood to grip your blank.

Or a doughnut style chuck made to fit the blanks

If you turn a softwood chuck, spindle orientation, with a hollow approx size of the spoon bowl, then cut slots in the end, so you've in effect got a wooden collet chuck. Cut a larger slot in one side so the handle can stick out, and use elastic bands or a jubilee clip to tighten the jaws.
REMEMBER the jubilee and spoon handle WILL at least hurt, or seriously injure you if they catch your fingers. (hammer).
