Ditto what SteveF said re the quality of the work here.
Unfortunately I cannot post up my entry cos it's now sitting sad and dented in the waste pile after some idiot tried to turn off the chucking point a little over enthusiastically.
Having remounted and turned it from a piece of beech previously cored wet and left to season, using a bowl gouge and approximately a million pieces of sandpaper to remove my poor workmanship, I then reversed it onto button jaws with extra tailstock support.
Not enough support, as it turned out!!
But no physical injuries, so that's something, I guess.
Time to practise some more, methinks.
Good luck to all the guys who have entered - everyone on there is a winner in my book.
Cheers
Greg
