Well that's spearfishing off my bucket list!
What a pain in the ar*e. (Or - a heavy duty form of acupunture maybe? :wink:

Done it fly fishing but don't carry pliers big enough for that :roll: :lol:
 
Anyone who has arms long enough to do that to themselves has well worn knuckles! I couldn't ave done that when I used my spear gun. I suppose that you just have to choose your friends carefully!

No need to take the barb off. Just cut the cord and it's then called a pull through :twisted: . It doesen't hurt unless you catch your fingers on the barb :twisted: :twisted:
