Just got a k5 from eBay but the wheel for the thicknesser is missing . Does anyone know where I can get a spare or how could I improvise to raise the table
Assuming you mean the handwheel for raising and lowering the thicknesser table, it seems to be a 9mm male spline drive so I guess a standard 9mm female spline socket with a handle should fit OK - worth trying anyway.
