Managed to get a few Beech logs to spalt, this is the one from which the little curiosity I turned from an offcut came from, I must pop an image of that up sometime.

Form is 201mm tall and finished with Shellac

Great work getting that shellac finish to that level of gloss without stripping it, a patient respectful touch as ever.
