Spalted Beech Bowl

Started the day making a vase but it split, so I found this blank at the back of the wood store which was nice and dry. Very pleased with the spalting on this one so kept the shape simple to let it show. 6 3/4" X 2"

That's a Rotten Piece done good, wood has the vocabulary but it needs a turner to make it talk.

Thank you guys. I have about 10 more pieces that I have rough turned but not ready to be completed yet.

In the bin it was a lovely piece of London plane as well tried to turn it green but had a catch and the handle hit the entry hole. Will have another go at some more later.
