Sorby tool marks

I am keen to date so far as possible a tool I recently bought on Ebay.
It is a "pig-sticker" chisel marked I.SORBY with a Mr Punch mark.
Mt Punch has 4 bells down his back, two tiny dots on his front as buttons, no ear and some indiscipherable object like a tooth brush in his mouth.
I can try later to put up a pic to help if I can puzzle out how to.
Anyone have a reference book on dating Mr Punch marks ?

I just looked at my I. Sorby pig sticker. Mine just has I. Sorby with V (crown) R so no help.
