Love it , would fit right in around my neck of the woods. The small resort town down the road has a stump in the front of every third yard after a windstorm recently. Bet 2 out of three will be indians by May. They also have a load of portaging men of the north as well as a smattering of lighthouses already. Rustic is what they aim for , Vegas in timber they have achieved , still fun though.

I like that sort of sculpting ,and has a use as well .

Me also, It is what appeals to me about wood turning. Even I can bludgeon a bit of wood into a container for stuff. Sometimes I can exploit the woods natural beauty to make something that is pleasant to look at as well as being functional. Of course he will have to turn the chair around when he is fishing in the river.
