Yes,i know I haven't posted much on here recently, but have still been keeping busy..

By coincidence, also made a bowl from some crotch laburnum a couple of weeks ago.Started off as this..

...ended up as this

Then had a commision to do for some wedding presents - got given some logs from a local farmer, who wanted something making with timber from his own land - sawed an ash log in half, and made two bowls from the two halves - one heartside up,one heartside down..

..and a cheesboard out of a slice of sycamore

And am also kept busy at my local pub (rapidly becoming my woodworking gallery.. )

It started with making a sign for "the naughty step"..

..and progressed to souvenir signs and keyrings..

..and most recently, stable signs for the horsey crowd..

..as well as work inside the pub, like these bifold doors and blackboard, between the two bars,to keep the Folk Club quiet(er)

You have been busy Andrew :D Does the pub work come with free sawdust removing lubrication? :eek:ccasion5:

That laburnum bowl looks very nice indeed as does the sycamore cheese board.Good stuff.

Is there a story behind the 'naughty step'?
