Smilies and Tapatalk

I often access this site using Tapatalk on my iPhone but I can no longer use smilies when sending replies?
Anybody else experience this problem?

PS I have upgraded to iOS5 - wonder if that is causing the problem?

I haven't used Tapatalk myself for awhile now. I've noticed that there was an update available for the back-end system which I've now just installed on UKW.

Sending this via Tapatalk to test

Please can you try it again to see if it's fixed the issue for you?

No it refuses to send them.
