Smart and brown sable lathe

Looking for some information about a smart and brown sable lathe I have recently inherited, are these still a desirable item or not due to their age?

age has nowt to do with desirability, generally the older they are the more desirable they are.
I think what you have there is a metalworking lathe as opposed to wood turning.
