Have a lot of the toys like track saw etc. No planer thicknesses or bandsaw. Was toying with the idea of picking up a second hand Emco Star or Kity K5. My father has an Emco.
Space is very tight. Don't want it for big stuff. I know the Emco but do not know how it compares to the Kity K5.
I have a little Myford lathe which is a lovely piece of kit. I have portable table saw etc so do not want to buy a table saw on its own.

Hi Brian
I don't have info on the Emco but can send you a leaflet and user manual / specs for the K5 if of any help in making comparisons. I'll pm you my email address, just let me know if you do want it.

cheers
Bob

I had an Emco for a while. It also had the Rex planer/thicknesser, which was actually the best part of it. You don't see them often but I'd definitely recommend if space is tight.
