I would like some advice please. I want a decent wood cutting blade for my SIP sliding mitre saw (255mm X16mm). I realise I will probably need a bushing to get down to 16mm bore. I currently have a 36 tooth blade but anticipate getting a 60 tooth, or even 80 tooth and preferably a thinner kerf than my current 2.8mm. I hope to cut hard or soft wood with the same blade. Your advice and recommendations would be appreciated.

i recently fitted a Atkinson Walker blade to my saw i went for the industrail quality (cheap on ebay) i'm very pleased with it gives a very nice clean cut in what ever i throw at it, th original was a 255 but i fitted a 250 works fine.

I do have one blade from Summit Saws and it's proved to be very good value for money (alright, it's in my circular saw, but still...). I think their blades come with reducing washers but, I'm not one-hundred percent certain... If not, Axminster do sell bore reducing rings to cater for just about any size. I've also used a Atkinson-Walker blade from Workshop Heaven and it's proved to be excellent so far.
