It's been intermittent, slow, or offline most of the day?

I think that happens when too many people try and connect at the same time.

Need James to give us some answers!!

Is that connect to UK_workshop, or connect in general to hostlab.co.uk? If so, it might be when our american friends come-online, and are visiting other sites on the servers?

Maybe, just plucking at straws really

Hi,

Yes there's a run away script on the server causing every mysql site to stop. UKW is not hosted by hostlab.co.uk. I'm currently sorting out a new host to move to - I'll keep you updated.

UKW has now moved (again) to a new host and for the first time ever is located in the UK so you should notice the site loading a little bit faster :) :D

Hi Charley

Out of interest, who have you used to host the site?

We use oneandone.co.uk, who are in Germany, to host about 20 sites for us.
