Hi folks I have a sip table saw with has always been fine

However over recent weeks it has developed a problem

When you angle the blade to the right it is fine and you cen get it down you abut 43 degrees no problems

Then with the last 3/4 turn of the angle wheel the far side of the blade starts to twist towards the right of the table so when you ar down to 45 degrees the far end of the blade is catching the right side of the removable steel table access plate.

The front edge of the blade is still about 2 / 3mm clear of the blade access panel

Any one else experienced this problem and could give me any insights

Cheers

Jon

I don't have any experience of that saw in particular but if the trunnions are mounted to the table as I suspect they might be, then I'd start by checking if the bolts are a little loose. That could give you the play you describe when the motor and arbour are swung at an angle.

hi folks all fixed thanks for all your help

some Muppet (ME) fixed a bracket to hang my mitre gauge to the side of the saw case and the screw was just catching the edge of the blade box

WHAT A MUPPET I AM
