Narrowed my search to a SIP or the Xcalibur 804 so if any owners of a SIP could kindly give me a few answers.

What the footprint on the SIP?

Can the riving knife be lowered some distance below the blade
if not can it be easily removed and replaced (for tenoning jigs)?

Has any one utilized the eight holes on base to make a mobile stand.

Any one purchased the sliding carriage? whats it like? and lastly
any moans about the m/c

Thanks in advance.

Footprint 5ft wide x 3ft deep.

Riving knife is higher than the blade but easily removed. Without the guard, blade and knife will lower below the table to give good work area.

Do a search for "my B&Q saw is dead" more information there.
