I had the shop to myself today as my help was off sick. so i looked for some to improve in the shop.I was sick of just clamping a board to the cross sled for repeat cuts so i made a flip stop out of aluminium 3/4 and 3/8 plate. Cut everything on the Speedxa wood metal band saw but you can cut this metal on a wood band saw .
took about 3 hours to make and will fit on any wood fence.

made a movie of it being put together and working

That's nifty! good simple design, and will work on any sled or false fence.
I am tempted to go and get an aluminium blade now!

Nice work, Jack. I generally dislike working with metals (dirty, scratchy stuff) but I might just be tempted.
