Hi , I'm after a new wheel for my grinder 120 grit 150 x40 what and where is the best place and what sort of price I'm i looking at it is only for wood turning many Thanks Gary

A 120 grit seems a bit fine to me more chance of burning.
I would have a 60 grit or look at the white wheels.
150mm are available from Axminster@ £12. also try yandles for a price.

Thank you 150 grit come with the grinder I have noticed burning very easy so i guess I get a 80 grit thank you for noticing still a beginner

the peter child website has a good writeup on wheels generally and is worth a look.

The ultimate is probably one of the new cbn type, but you are looking at a lot of money. Hobbiest and professional turners alike do without, so they are obviously not a necessity.
