I was done.

Just measured it again and I'm 8 mm short of depth, total hieght 160mm , depth 120mm cant alter it so i think another go is on the cards.

Keep ruler closer to lathe

well i'm happy to report my new lathe has been ordered =D>

not so happy to say it won't be in stock until the end of october
so I'm out this month and probably next too.... Bang goes my 12 points

Is there not a member close by that would allow you use of a lathe?

She's more than welcome to use mine on the condition she makes my entry too.

i thought i might be in with a (very ) small outside chance this month but it seems the vase challenge has woken everybody up :shock: and we're only two thirds through the month :!:
