Hi. I have recently joined Etsy to try and sell some of my miniature wooden jigsaws (postage stamp size into 12 pcs) and have noticed the main interest is coming from the USA. I know wooden goods can't be sent to Australia but am unsure about any import regulations in America. Does anyone have any information please? I specialise in fretwork, usually in wood but have recently cut some old coins as pendants/charms and am wondering if there would be any restrictions regarding dispatching them abroad????
Any help will be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks.

Hi Roy
I have sent one puzzle to Canada and seven to the USA I had no problems
all were delivered, and most if not all puzzle makers in the states use imported
birch ply. No info on your coins or fretwork

Thanks for the information. I'll have to give it a try and see what happens....
Gerard. I couple of people we know have emigrated to Oz and upon arrival all their wooden items including furniture were impounded and they had to pay to have it treated before they could take it into the country. I've also spoken to other people who know of similar incidents where the wood was impounded and the furniture destroyed because the owners couldn't afford to have it treated...
