I don't tend to change cars too often, but am sick to death of my landie being targeted to steal, so it is going to go.

Any thoughts on the best place to advertise? eBay and auto trader seem to have wildly different prices for similar vehicles to mine- eBay v low, auto trader much higher than I expected. Then there is gumtree, pistonheads etc.

Cheers
Mark

Personally, with the way fees have gone I would avoid Ebay, Have you tried one of the forums (lro or landytown)?

Just had a look at ebay and its better than I thought £10 to list and then £35 on top if it sells and maybe a £7.99 reserve fee.

Other options involve advertising your phone number, not sure if its still true but you used to get flooded with calls from agencies offering to sell your car for you.

You still need to be on your guard but at least on ebay you know a bit more about them before they turn up.

thanks all. not sure we have a local paper these days.
