seeking ipad info

Whilst on holiday last week I used the ipad camera and the pics. are in photo ok..

How do I get the pics around 117 out of ipad to my pc. (W7pro and into my pictures)

USB lead from iPad to PC, click Computer on PC, go into iPad memory and drag and drop into picture folder.
Or enable iCloud Photostream and the pictures will transfer over the air.
