Hi there - I'm new to the forum.. My 16 year old son is looking to join a woodturning club, either in Swindon or within 20 or so miles. He's a good lad, and has done a fair bit of turning. Any ideas please, guys? Cheers! Alex :)

North Wilts Woodturners Association.

Meets 2nd Wednesday after 1st Tuesday (don't ask!) in Hook Village Hall near Wootton Bassett M4 J16.

Friendly club, all abilities welcome, good schedule of meetings, demos, all day events. :D :D :D :D :D

There are three RPT members as well as a number of experienced turners. Also some lady turners and one or two youngsters but they have been busy with exams recently.

Thanks for the offer, Pete, but unfortunately Ali's kayaking right now. Sounds great, hope the evening goes well! Would certainly like to drop in on you, sometime soon, we will check out the website.

Good that you have other youngsters in the club. Do you have any turning nights for the young uns? If so, I'm sure Alastair would be interested.

Thanks, Alex
