I picked up the last of the Sedgwick Trio today from a guy who is retiring

The spindle is 3 phase, but he threw in a converter (on the bench next to the Makita radio), along with a number of older blocks (e-bay fodder) and a rebate block. The morticer and 10" p/t are single phase.

I wasn't going to take the p/t, but he wanted shut of it all. It's put me in a bit of a quandry now, as i've got a separate planer and thicknesser, but keeping the p/t would free up a bit of floorspace. But on the downside, the separates are 12", whereas the Sedgwick is only 10". Whichever decision I make i'm sure it'll be the wrong one....

Cheers

Karl

karl,

you look a bit tight for space there- better send that morticer over to mine...

Would help me with my workbench!

I don't know Karl - You change your machinery more often than I put diesel in my Van!

Thats a good buy
Its not very often you need a full 12" wide planer i wood stick with the sedgewick, its so easy to go from surfacing to thicknesing.
Keep them all and enjoying using them, im sure your grand children will be using them in many years to come.
