I was prompted to think about this from a previous and recent post on an expensive cutter.

If I was to spend say £83.00 on a router cutter for a specific job, assuming the cutter is still in sharp, clean and sound condition, what sort of second hand value would it have?

There are a few on eBay for example, but do they actually sell?
 
I have been known to buy used router bits, but would only do so with good pictures and the promise of decent packing. I guess if the seller seems to understand what it is.....
But it is, perhaps, quite a specific item to sell?

they are high prices that's for sure, for some reason prices have gone through the roof recently, I would never pay that much.
