been trawling through the Axminster site looking at screw sizes in the Spax range. Normally I only use 6 & 8 gauge but axminster have gone all metrix. I don't have my conversion tables with me so can anyone tell me what the mm equivilent is of 6 & 8 gauge screws.

Thanks and have a nice easter Sunday in the WS

Neil - That was helpful to me too :) Just as a matter of interest, are the sheet metal thickness's the same, e.g. If I buy 8 gauge sheet steel will it be 4.0mm thick??
