This is a very basic project - but it's worked out well, and is already being put to good use.

Thought I'd share it in case anyone has similar ideas of their own.

Trough at the bottom holds glues etc., Shelf in the middle holds screw boxes. Another shelf going in soon.

Good height for sawing down boards - overhang all round for clamping. Wide top is also perfect for bandsaw. Generally don't use handsaws and bandsaw at the same time so it's either or set up.

Was made as a seat for my treadle lathe! So all these features are a bonus!! Have relieved (I think it's called that) feet so that they can fit over lathe base and into two hole saw holes in the base so that it parks away snugly

Nicely done.

I never thought of sitting down while treadling; I'm not sure if I could manage that, I can't do two things at once! :lol:

Nice Drummond too, I have a soft spot for the early Drummonds.
