Anyone going to the European Championship this weekend?

Santa Pod is a place I've wanted to go for a long time (About 25 years come to think of it). Unfortunately I can't see me going anytime soon but I will one day.

Is that one of the better weekends to go to?

It's the best. More cars and more classes racing than any other event.

We used to go every year for the European finals, it was always a fun day out. Love standing in the shed behind the start line, the smell, the stones in your face. Brilliant.

The area behind the start line (called "the barn" IIRC) has been closed off for some years now, probably for H&S reasons :roll:

raced there a couple of times on bikes but most of the time at York Raceway with the cracks in the track lol ya can't beat the smell of burning rubber (apart from a burning Iain Duncan Smith)

Burning government ministers is illegal, at least it is in the rest of the UK, but in the interest of balance how about a Nicola Sturgeon shish kebab. With a stick up her **** it might put a smile on her sour face.
