Sanding discs

I need to replenish my stock of pads for a 150mm RO sander; any suggestions for best make/price and supplier?

Check out the Mirka Abranet discs. They're very good.

Rest Express are good stockist for Mirka kit. Axi also stock them at a fairly reasonable prices.

Mirka appear at various shows, demoing their sanders. Not used the sanders but they look a bit pricey for me. The Abranet however is brilliant stuff, I was given about 20 disks last March, I'm down to my last few and would certainly pay for them this time!

Thanks for the replies. It will involve some gritting of the teeth when paying for all the grades I need, but I'll try the Abranet. The last stack of boxes I bought was from an autofactors, and while cheap, as with most things, they weren't much good.

Have a look at Allan Calder's Ltd - I've not dealt with them but they seem to have a good range of abrasives, and not necessarily in huge quantities.

There is an ebay seller who does mixed boxes of grades of abranet

1 pack form the top end and one from the bottom so for the price of two boxes you get a very wide range.
Worth getting the protector pad as well - goes between the sander and the disc.
