Hi,
Can anybody help; need to buy self adhesive sandpaper rolls 115mm x 5m. Can anybody advise where to buy in UK?

Don't drum sanders normally get each end of the abrasive trapped in a groove arrangement, with the paper just wound tightly and relying on friction to stay in place?

Hi,I Have made the drum sander out of a old lathe so have just got a large dia of wood, have tried drawing pins to hold sand paper on but it is no good,

I’ve something similar, I used a belt of a belt sander with a screw in each end. Works enquire well

Exactly what Mike suggested, run a router along the length of your wooden drum to create a groove, relieve the sharp edges.
Then cut a wooden 'key' strip to a gnats under the width of your groove, wrap paper tightly over the drum and tap the key strip into place over the ends of the paper.

Try Record Power, they sell replacements for their 12" DS300, probably the smaller belt and disc models too.
