I need to clean up and retreat my oak porch.

However, getting at the roof is kinda difficult, especially for someone who has vertigo See picture below. It is 3.4m high at house wall, reducing to 2.4m high at side with a span of 2.2m approx.

You will see from the cleaned section how far I have managed to reach off a step ladder.

The guys that installed the glazing just walked on the glass :roll: Don't fancy that myself, especially as I have to wet the timber to clean it.

So how would you get at this?

Get the wife to do it & foot the ladder! :mrgreen:

I would use a conservatory ladder to gain a safe acces, I use them regularly and are very good and strong, as I have my own I looked at the cost for you to hire one ( see link below). Hope this helps.

Can you remember where you got yours from please as, long term, it might be cost effective to buy one.

Online, but as I use reg it is cost effective as if I remover £500/600 wa the price

Yeah! :lol: I got mine from the Parents-in-law. Not sure if you can buy one nowadays, but suspect mail order brides are still going strong. LOL!
