I bought this router, installed in a Ryobi router table, about eight years ago, and up to now haven't had time to even look at it. I'm hoping someone has a similar router, and can help me. I can't get it to plunge. It's not corroded at all. It has two large handles, one of which contains the on/off switch (which has a metal clip round it, holding the switch on.) There's a yellow lever which appears to lock the plunge, and this is released. The other handle doesn't appear to rotate at all, but I've not dared to try too hard to rotate it, as this is the only thing I can think of which will release the plunge.

Can anyone offer advice please?

Haha! That's what it says on the maker's label. I'd post a photo if I had the first clue how to. It's got to be ten years old at least, but runs beautifully.
