Hi, I am looking at a small table saw. I like the Axminster bts 10st as it folds away (I have very limited space) then I found the Rutland 210. I have never owned a table saw so I am not sure why I need to pay so much more for a machine like this. Can any of you help? I think I notice the Axminster has a sliding part of the table, does this make it much easier to guide for an accurate cut?

I think if I was looking for one I would go for the Axminster TS-200 with the induction motor, which will be quieter running than the two saws you referred to which have brush motors.

Thanks Roughcut. Is there a better model in the price range if the Axminster machine, £350 that would also be good in a very small space ie no real room to be left out all the time.
