Agree it's utterly pointless. I think it was brought in when a newbie posted something on here for sale which was also for sale on e-bay.

As I read it rule 5 says sites that are specifically for selling things liek e-bay, gumtree etc not forums that may have a forsale section.

Roger what you should be looking at is rule No 1 private sales only as you are a tradesman should you be advertising surplus machines!!

I don't think you're likely to get a response from Roger Jason - he's been banned.

Hi Jason,

Rule 5 also says, "An item or items that have been submitted to the For Sale board must not be entered concurrently for sale anywhere else. This includes digital and/or print media." or has this been changed?

If true, I'm sorry to hear that.

Thanks,
Neil

Don't think he's been banned, more of a Sin-Bin offence which lasted for 48hrs or similar.
But he's decided to go of his own accord apparently .........................

Yes, Roger was sin-binned for 48 hours.

I think he's decided that he wouldn't be here as much as he used to be as opposed to doing a runner.
