Hello, still learning! I have got the patio table and chairs out which were purchased from M&S a couple of years ago, made in Indonesia, the parts not exposed to the sun are still the original brown finish, the top has gone a dirty grey, I gave it two coats of teak oil hoping to bring the original colour back but no, still grey with course grain. Any ideas on how to bring the colour before I cock it up completely, cheers, Andrew

Or a scraper plane (or cabinet scraper, preferably using a holder for such a large job).

Completly agree with 'TheTiddles'.
I made an outdoor seat a few years ago from some 'meranti' that my dad brought back from Malaysia after his employment over there ended.
Every couple of years I jet wash it and give it two or three coats of Danish Oil, with quick sanding of 320 grit between applications. It always comes up looking like new.

Good luck
Simon
