I'm making a jewelry box and - for the first time - using brass inlays.
I'd like to round over the edges of the box which will include the brass strips.
Is it safe to use a (1/2inch shank) router round-over bit in a router table to do this ? I have seen it done in Youtube videos but I'm nervous about doing it as I've only ever routed wood.
The strips are 5mm square profiles.
