router table on a budget

Hi Guys
I am looking for a simple cheap router table on a tight budget, say around the £100 mark.

and loads of variations on this theme all over the internet.

Seems to good to be true.
I am after something that I can build into a workbench as a permanent fixture
I am not doing anything fancy, just cutting lots of repetitive rebates in the backs of wooden shelves. I dont really mind if the cheapo router blows up in a year, the last cheapo one I had lasted for years as I a not working anything too hard.
reason for going to a table mounted version? I have been using my Hitachi router both by hand and table mounted and am fed up with changing it over from my dodgy home made router table.
Budget is a key word here,

If you've a decent table saw with sufficient space underneath the table mount it there, as I have, saves space.

Dont have a table saw, I fancy that I can jusr screw down/build into my workbnch as a semipermanent thing.
I reckon the Charwood one looking at them both again.

If you want to drop a table into an existing bench / worktop, may I suggest the Axminster insert:

I use one exactly like that, dropped into a top and with a 1/4" router. Made a fence with some ali angle, mdf face and T-Track from Rutlands. It works very well and cost about £70 all in, including (in my case) extraction behind the fence (plumbing white pipe).

I had wondered about buying the insert and making the rest of it.
But I work for myself, a morning (ha ha) spent making it? I would be better off buying something that will work straight off.

Hi soulboy, I bought the rutlands table last week and have to say that I've been very impressed with the build materials for such a low price. I have mounted it into a bench and I'm very impressed with it. For that money its not worth making your own.
