Hi,

I hope one of you good people will be able to help me. I am building my own router table at the moment and have just taken delivery of my new Freud FT2000VCE :D

I also bought the Axminster router table insert and I also thought I would buy the template for the insert aswell.

The template comes with its own guide and bushing that you fit to the plate of the router. But the Freud doesn't seem to be able to accomodate this.

will i have to buy an additional base plate for my router or am i doing it all wrong.

Thanks for reading

Jim

Jim,

I think John is right but it may also be worth checking with the Axminster Technical guys who are normally really helpful and will be more familiar with the set up requirements.

Cheers

T

Hi Jim,
I too have the Freud, and i bought the RT insert from Axminster.,
but, i made my own template.
It's not too tricky to make your own,( you can use the freud bush)
and you could send the template back for something else :D
