When I bought my Coronet Major it came with a few "slot mortice" cutters, serrated on one edge and straight on the other. Unfortunately I broke the most useful one a large 3/4" one whilst making some field gates. It is the only one I have found that would go deep enough. Not seen them anywhere what is the correct name for them and who supplies them, any ideas please.
Many thanks in advance. I do have a tool and cutter grinder so could sharpen some if anyone has old ones cluttering up the place if you have any for sale do please let me know condition size and price. Many thanks.

That is a clico slot mortise bit... They went bust a year or so ago.
We have
1 x 3/4" left hand rotation
1 x 3/8 rh
2 x 5/8 rh
1 x 7/8 rh
In stock if you need

Cheers

Wildman, Slightly off topic, of the Coronet Major, I have what I believe to be the moulding block, in the original box with I think is the full set of cutters, could you recognise them at all?
They are "Handed" for the saw bench, moulding from underneath, and the fence on the right, which is the reverse
feed direction of the spindle moulder. Here's a link to the block,- Its in ths r/h middle.

I could have sworn I replied to Blackrodd but cannot find it. Anyway I do have a moulding spindle and cutters for the coronet major. well most of them any way. The box contains most of the cutters needed to make doors and windows etc. There is a list of the cutters in the manual. I should have a copy someplace. However whilst I have used them most people on here would frown on using this cutter block as it does not meet current safety standards. So there you have it, if you want to sell the box of cutters I could be interested as I have a few missing and like to collect full sets of Coronet equipment but would not allow anyone else to use them.

Wildman, Thanks for the reply, And for the offer I wouldn't break up the set, and some one, as you, may value them
just to complete their tool set, or even as an ornament!
The block I have is a Whitehill type, I've used them for years but have never liked the cutterblock in the saw bench
working situation, very close to the hands, being so high up and very dicey!
Much prefer the conventional spindle and shaw guard.
I was mainly interested in confirming the set is for the coronet, make a space and get my money back.
Thanks and regards Rodders
