I have a Makita SP6000 with some rails which is great for cutting sheet material. I see that it is possible to get a Makita Guide Rail adaptor for a router. They look like quite a good idea and not too expensive. I was just trying to work out I could make them work with my router. Does anyone know the diameter of the bars that go into the base of a 1/2" Makita Router? Do you know what the spacing between the bars is?

Thanks.

There are 2 spacings on the adapter, one is for 8mm bars, with a distance of 84MM between centres. The other one is for 12mm bars (for the 1/2" router), with a distance of 115mm between centres.

Hop this helps,

Ferenc
