Bought a second hand Leigh Superjig 24 this week, came with a box of 11 router bits. (+VRS and a router :) )

Puzzled by one of the bits which isn't in a Leigh box or marked Leigh on the shank, unlike the rest. It has "nibs" at the bottom of the cutters so not really suitable for dovetails. What would it's use be?

The idea is to allow a channel to allow glue to escape from the half blind dovetails on assembly -like the saw cut up a dowel pin.

OK thanks. I've just been playing with first effort at half blind but that particular cutter isn't mentioned in the instructions. It's very complicated to absorb for an old fart like me and I'm not surprised many people say they have to do a test piece every time they use the jig, I'll need a bigger scrap box:(
