Anyone know if any of these router lifters will work on Craftsman routers from the US? I have a nice 2HP Professional router, but the Sears-designed adjustment mechanism was so poor that it broke the first time I used it! So much for US technology? I also have a pretty good Sears router table, but I doubt the lifter would fit... However, I am very pleased with their routers as I have only burned out one in 12 years - and that was cutting a 1/2 inch deep by 3/4 inch wide groove in pressure-treated wood - in one pass. Mind you, it was only a 1HP model and was pretty well used at the time. It did get hot though before it finally coughed.
