Just had a brilliant 3 days as a one to one puple with Roger. What an eye opener, worth every penny. I came away with a much sounder knowledge and all my questions answered. I would highly recommend him to anybody who wants to advance their skills in woodworking. He is a perfect gentleman to boot

If you read this Roger

Thank you

David

ah, so it is down to you that we have had no progress on the clock this week... :)

glad you enjoyed it though.

Was your pun intentional David? I.e., pupil.. followed by 'eye-opener'!

Glad you got a lot out of your course too.

Sorry Marcros. definitely me that slowed things up. Funny I was looking at it and went to touch it (as you do ) when Roger jumped in and told me it wasn't glued, so you may have been more right than intended lol.

Of course it was intentional (the pun that is) well actually ....Er no
yes I had a great time, Very knowledgeable Guy is Roger.

Dave

Can I ask, what did you do? Did you spend the three days making something or practising? If you have any, I would like to see some pictures.

I wanted a hand to make a cheese press, I made a Dutch cheese press and sorted out the fulcrum measurements to my requirements but needed Roger to help me to refine it and show me how to do the jointing and cutting to a professional standard. I am very pleased with the results. I will post a picture when I take one, and figure out how to post it.
Hi Glynne I will give you a ring

For the benefit of other people equally ignorant of Dutch cheese presses as me:
