thanks yeah they are quite popular ive sold six this year , if i had more time i could have sold more but the day job prevents that :cry:
 
hi i just got it from my local sewing shop i was looking forv something tight nit for safety reasons and this just happend to fit the bill i glue it on with bostick solvent free glue they sold the stuff by the metre i think it some curtain trim or something ?
 
how did you do the name plate? its lovely! is all the horse done on scroll saw? tried lookin for you on ebay but couldnt find you...
 
hi kemo i have the name plate made for me , i designed it the horse is like a etching i could write the name but as i get them done for 3.50 i source it out

i not got anything on ebay at moment will do in next month or so

its lovely, how much do you sell them for, excuse me if im being to nosy! reminds me of one i had when i was younger :)so simple yet really effective
 
hi kemo well this time i am going to try 65- 70 pounds i have sold them cheaper but going to try for a bit more , they are simple but they are a bit decieving as you have to make sure certain pieces are identical pretty much the rockers and the legs otherwise it wont look right and it took me me a couple of horses to get the assembly nailed down as they can be a bit fiddly the slowest thing is finishing them with two coats of child safe diamond varnises as lots of nuts and crannys !

i am experimenting with quiker ways i tried an aerosol but bit messy and you have to seal with sanding sealer first i might try an oil finish that is supposed to be hardwearing
