I went down the local DIY for a replacement can of C------- Woodworm and Clear Preservative.
The cost was £18 for a 2 and a half litre can. My last purchase of this material cost £18 for 5 litres.
New cost = nearly £36 for a gallon. Petrol cost £4 per gallon .
My opinion is that the preservative is most probably a bye product of the petroleum industry.
Can any member suggest an old fashion remedy for preseving outdoor garden furniture at a more sensible price.
