ring folds?

little help with a tidy way to make ring folds. What material i could use for the folds. The lining fabric is going to be suede.

Maybe as at the bottom of this page? Use closed cell foam and the same suede fabric.

if it is to hold rings in a jewellery box, i have used sponge pieces, covered with the lining fabric.
