Nice. I love the De Stijl movement. The Red and Blue chair is one of my favorite chairs. I have a 1:5 model I made and painted from some good drawings on line, and Manchester Art Gallery on Mosely St, has a copy you can sit on. So small, but great. Nice Sketchup.

I made the chair. Left it brown, odds n ends of mahogany or sapele. It seems the original was brown until Mondrian suggested a cheery colour scheme.
It is surprisingly comfortable as everyone who has sat in it has to admit. Except the back could do with being a few inches longer - I guess Rietveld had a short neck!
The cross over joints are quite interesting and very functional. I wondered about bolts instead but Rietveld's fat dowels are a much better idea.

I might paint it someday.

Thanks. The smaller Red Blue chair was made to be child-sized. I drew it up as a plan for a friend who built it to give to another friend as a gift.
