Retractable casters

Has anyone made use of castors such as these:

They could be a handy solution for those machines that MAY need to be moved, once in a while; any thoughts on suitability, durability etc?

I’ve used to them on non-wooodwork machinery, not sure how well they’d do on a rough floor, but you could use a spreader plate of metal when needed

Not sure about those ones, the ones we used were... but they were hundreds 10-years ago

Looking at those ones you need to turn a thumb wheel to raise and lower,would be awkward enough with even a light desk and even more so with a heavy table saw or work bench ,those with a foot operated lever to raise and lower would be my choice.
