Hello folks

here are three resin boxes i've made recently for a special order/customer
the resin was cast by a gentleman in America and sent to me as 3x3x7 3/4" blocks weighing 3kg each

3 1/2" tall by 2 7/8" wide

4" tall by 2 7/8" wide

this resin is based on fordite and is called colour explosion
4 3/4" tall by 2 7/8" wide

Spectacular colour explosion and contrasts on the first two George, not so impressed by the blend on the latter ones, (lack of contrast ?) but maybe that's just down to the difficulty in getting them photographed.

You certainly get a good blemish free finish both in contour and surface glaze.

The second photo looks really fantastic, it has the appearance of being marble!

The chap you get your blanks from, is this a supplier or just a guy you know?

Cheers David

Hi Geo. , The top four piccs. just jump out at you ,fantastic really lovely mixture or blend not sure of the term .
The bottom ones tho not as vibrant as the others remind me of the 50s / 60s when physadelic ?? was all the rage
it was low priced then but try to buy it now .
Your usuall standards are evident in them all , Thanks George.

I'd pay money for the second one and the last one. Take all sorts I guess. They are all beautifully turned though.

I'd like the guy's details if possible.. I will PM
